From there, I guide you through a carefully considered process:
Consultation – We begin with a personalised consultation—either in person or vitually—where we explore your vision, take initial measurements, and discuss fabric, silhouette, and styling.
Before our meeting, I’ll ask you to complete a brief client intake form and share 3–5 reference images that reflect your aesthetic or inspiration. This helps me prepare ideas tailored specifically to you.
Consultations are R200 for a 30–50 minute session. Your appointment will be confirmed upon receipt of proof of payment.
Design & Quotation – I develop sketches and source fabric options. Once you approve the direction, you’ll receive a detailed quote.
Deposit & Timeline – A 50% deposit secures your place in the studio schedule. Fitting dates are proposed and confirmed.
Toile Fitting – A first sample (toile) is created to test shape and structure. Adjustments are noted and refined.
Garment Construction – Your final piece is carefully cut, sewn, and finished with close attention to detail.
Fittings & Final Touches – We fine-tune the fit over a series of fittings. Hemlines, closures, embellishments—every element is perfected.
Delivery – You finished garment is pressed and prepared, ready for collection or delivery to you.
Made-to-rent means that instead of purchasing a custom garment outright, you have the option to commission a bespoke piece that is created specifically for you—but returned after use. It's ideal for clients who want something beautifully tailored and one-of-a-kind for a special occasion, without the full cost of ownership.
Unlike traditional rentals from a fixed collection, a made-to-rent garment is:
Custom-designed and tailored to your measurements and event needs
Worn and returned after the agreed rental period
More affordable upfront than full purchase
